A palette knife painting on a 24x24 wrapped canvas. Dramatizing the size of the cactus paddle for a more abstract look and using a lot of texture with the palette knife. Living here in Austin, Texas spring brings lovely blossoms from the Tunas. Various cactuses abound all over the Hill Country and many are used for yard landscaping. Cactuses are very Southwestern and a regional type of art ...................!
