MIDNIGHT TANGO THE TANGO is a romantic, sensual dance that began with the Italian and Spanish immigrants to Uruguay, Argentina and Buenos Aires in the late 1800's. While traveling in Italy, I came across a very old black and white poster and took a photo of this exact couple . Midnight Tango is painted from that photo and I added the colors of the white dress and the off-white shirt and the purple background. The facial features are changed as it was an old blurry poster.
