FRESH PAINT

Using the palette knife and experimenting with oil and cold wax , I was able to change this piece of art into a more dynamic abstract. 'ANOTHER PEACH" is also a monotone work in the Southwestern colors that appeal to me. This contemporary painting is on a 9x12 board with one half inch sides. BEES AND BLOOMS.  Some small oil series to get back in touch with working in oils. Since I love gardening and keeping a biodiverse environment around my house in Austin, Texas, it is an immense satisfaction to see bees, birds and butterflies flitting around the garden. Winter supplies seeds for the birds. Flowers are not my usual choice to paint , however, it was satisfying to paint a few small oils. These  are Birds and Bees oils are 8x19 on canvas board. te Creating Collages in Italy   11x14 on paper Another collage created while attending an art sojourn in Italy.  One of my favorite activities is exploring papers, watercolors, acrylics and textures while putting together a collage.
