Sailing at the Cape

Love ocean and boat scenes so I decided to paint one of my own. I have collected several over the years. Somehow , they seem so calm and encourage the feeling of escape and adventure.  

Big Bend Range

5x7, oil on board. Really can't beat these Big Bend scenes. Fell in love with the area .

Evening in Tuscany

8x10, oil on canvas. Took 2nd place in the Wimberley membership show recently.This was done from a black and white study after I returned from Italy.

Ghost Ranch Sunset

5x7, oil on board. This painting is a smaller version of an acrylic painting that was auctioned off in a fund raiser. It was a favorite of mine, so I did another one and actually this one is better.

Tomatoe study

5x7, oil on board. Three plump tomatoes straight off the vine. My camera caught some interesting shadows and light. Changed the background color for more punch in the painting.

European Robin

SOLD AT BUNKHOUSE ART SHOW   5x5, oil on board, European Robin. Plump little guy. I painted this 4:00 one sleepless morning. No, he wasnt on my windowsill trilling away. My Irish friend sent me his picture. Perhaps he trilled on her windowsill.!
